My name is Phil and I’m a 24 year-old from Derbyshire, England. I’m a native English speaker and have been learning languages for 10 years and counting! I currently speak Spanish, German and Catalan and I’m learning Beginner’s French.
I have a First-Class BA Honours degree from Newcastle University in Modern Languages (Spanish and German), Translation and Interpreting. and I've obtained my first TEFL qualification.
Languages Open Doors aims to inspire young people of school age and upwards to learn languages and educate them on the potential career paths and doors that are opened by studying a language. We hope to ignite a passion for learning languages in everyone, regardless of their age or culture.
For native English speakers, we’re offering one-on-one tutoring sessions to children, teenagers, young people and adults to improve their Spanish, German or Catalan.
For non-native English speakers, we also have one-on-one tutoring sessions for children, teenagers, young people and adults who want to improve their confidence and speaking skills.
